Artie Abrams rolled back and forth, lost in his thoughts. And he had much to think about since his recent meeting with Ms Sylvester. When he was first called into her office he had been worried it was for a punishment. But how wrong he was. The subject at hand that they had discussed had been something he couldn’t get out of his head. He couldn’t really do it, could he? These people were his friends, and he had seen how mean Ms Sylvester and Mr Shue were to each other. Sure she didn’t seem to go as intense on him as she did on the other Glee kids, but that could all be sucking up. The boy let out a sigh.
Artie shook his head. He was probably blowing this out of proportion. If he didn’t agree to this then maybe she would try and round up another member. He knew most of the club could stand up for themselves against Ms Sylvester’s tactics, but it was the one that he was most worried about who showed about as much backbone as he did. Tina. He didn’t want his friend to be sucked into the plot because he refused. He tried getting the thoughts out of his head. This was an issue that he couldn’t share with any of the other kids in Glee, for they might overreact. He was all on his own in this. It brought a cretin song back to his mind. One he had sung when he felt left out from the group all going to sectionals on the bus together. He picked up his acoustic guitar and began to play, closing his eyes and trying to block out the world around him.
“On the floor of Tokyo Or down in London town to go, go With the record selection With the mirror reflection I'm dancing with myself
When there's no-one else in sight In the crowded lonely night Well I wait so long For my love vibration And I'm dancing with myself
Oh dancing with myself Oh dancing with myself Well there's nothing to lose And there's nothing to prove I'll be dancing with myself
If I looked all over the world And there's every type of girl But your empty eyes Seem to pass me by Leave me dancing with myself
So let's sink another drink 'Cause it'll give me time to think If I had the chance I'd ask the world to dance And I'll be dancing with myself
Oh dancing with myself Oh dancing with myself Well there's nothing to lose And there's nothing to prove I'll be dancing with myself”

Quinn really needed somebody right now. Anyone. She didn't care if it was a teacher, a parents, Rachel, Kurt, anyone. She just needed someone to remind her that she wasn't as fuucked up as she thought she was. Though she didn't have anyone. No parents, no Finn, she didn't want to go to Mr Shue because it was just akward now since he found out her baby was going to him and his wife. Or was it ex wife? He didn't really know anymore. Quinn wondered around trying to found out what to do and where to go.
Quinn was sick of going some random place to go cry to herself, and she didn't want to go 'home' aka Britany's house. She just needed to find somewhere to go, so she had decided finally to go the place she felt most comfterable and accepted. Or well use to feel accepted. Now she just felt like only few people wanted her there if not any. Anyway, that where she felt accepted and comfterable was the glee room. She shoved her hands in her pocket and straightened out her hoodie. Quinn never once wore this dreaded hoodie but it was the only piece of clothing she owned anymore that didn't show her baby bump and she didn't want those stares anymore.
She felt disapointed anytime someone stared at her. They weren't staring at Quinn she was staring at Quinn's soon to be baby girl. Also anytime somone talked to her they were staring at her stomach not her eyes. It was just horrible, so she wore whatever didn't clutch her baby bump which was just this big McKinley High hoodie. She sighed and kept walking to the glee room. As she got closer she heard a voice. A soothing voice, kind of angelic. She followed it until she realized it was Artie. She stood there until he finished playing and then walked in.
That was really good Artie Quinn said in her soft smooth voice. I don't know why you don't have more solos. You're better then Finn. Quinn said going closer to Artie. The two had never been really close but they had to sing a ballad together and you know singing a meaningful song to each other brings two closer together then they were before.

Artie finished his song and looked up as he heard a voice. Joining him in the room was one Quinn Fabray. It was funny how Glee changed people. He was pretty sure Quinn wouldn’t have given him the time of day until she joined the club. In fact, her first words to him were probably “Artie doesn’t mind, do you Artie?” when they were discussing everyone going on the bus and him going with his dad. It hurt, but when he pulled Quinn’s name out of the ballad hat, that was when things started to change between them. Singing feelings was bonding obviously, but how Mr Shue got everyone in the chairs for three hours a day and during proud marry probably helped a bit too. He blushed a bit at his voice being compared to that of Finn.
“Thank you, but Finn and I both have very different ranges to bring to the table. You heard how good of a harmony we could get out during the mash ups, where we totally creamed you girls by the way. I feel worse for Puck Matt and Mike. I don’t think I have heard Matt or Mike sing by themselves to tell you the truth.” Artie rambled a bit. Then he realised she probably didn’t care and he should take the complement as it was. “But you could totally be on Rachel’s level. I just hope she doesn’t have this place bugged to hear when people talk about her or what they say” Artie attempted to joke.
Artie looked up at Quinn and wondered what it would be like in her shoes. It wasn’t like he could get pregnant too in order to feel it. It must be hard for her with all the whispering behind her back. He decided to cheer her up in the one way he could think of. Making eye contact with her, he began to gently play.
“Sometimes in our lives, we all have pain, we all have sorrow. But if we are wise, we know that there's always tomorrow. Lean on me, when you're not strong and I'll be your friend. I'll help you carry on, for it won't be long 'til I'm gonna need somebody to lean on.”
Artie kept it short and sweet. His mind was still buzzing with the thoughts Ms Sylvester had planted. “You will always have a friend when you come around here Quinn. Glee is like a family of sorts I suppose. Mr Shue is the father, and Ms Pillsbury the mother and the rest of us brothers and sisters. I suppose that would make Ms Sylvester the crazy aunt” Artie joked, trying to lighten the mood. [/size]

Quinn really liked Artie. Seh wished the two hung out more and really talked more. He put her in a good mood because he cared a lot for anyone really, or at least that was what Quinn got from the time the two had spent together. Quinn looked at him as he talked. She laughed as he rambled on about how they creamed the girls in the mash up competetion. She agreed, Puck had a nice voice she didn't understand why he didn't get solos. Then she wondered about Mike and Matt. She was curious on why they didn't sing and if they really could sing.
Good point. I mean Puck, she paused as her heart sunk thinking of his name. Actually had a good voice. Can Mike and Matt even sing? Or are they just there to like even out the harmonies with the guys? And yes you all did kick our butts but you all were basically high so it doesn't count she said shoving Artie softly before giggling. When Artie talked about Rachel and how she had this place bugged she bursted out laughing. Probably. I mean this is like her place she's probably gonna throw like nets on us in two seconds. she said smiling for real for the first time in a while.
Though that was her own fault. She was sitting around in her puttle of despair. She couldn't get out of it. She just sat around crying her eyes out or screaming as if Finn or Puck were there. She hated it. She wished she could fix it all on her own, she could some part, but she had to go to Finn or Puck for some part. She thought about and decided she was going go talk to Finn sometime this week... the later the better.
As she thought she started to her guitar strings play. She stopped thinking and looked at Artie. Aw! He was playing Lean On Me for her. She felt like crying again like the first time the Glee club sang it for her. She smiled and walked over to Artie, leaned down and hugged him. You're a really sweet guy Artie. Any girl is lucky to be with you. Speaking of girls, I've seen you staring to Tina. What is up with you and her? She obviously likes you, so get with her boy. she said smiling
Quinn was shocked about what Artie said. Could he read her mind? Well she guessed it was pretty easy to read. She laughed as he said Sue was the crazy aunt. Crazy, messed up, doesn't to the dirt work you have to for her and then you get kicked off and all your happiness is taken away aunt. she snapped at herself. She looked at Artie and then realized something was up. She had seen that face before. Speaking of Sylvester... I've seen that look before. What is she making you do?
